SARA HINCHLEY
Chairperson
Sara has worked for Child Australia since 2006 and is an Executive Director with a portfolio of management responsibility for Child Australia's Early Learning Centres and OSHC Services located in WA and the NT, Parent Support Programs and Professional Learning and Support Program.
Sara holds extensive experience working across various roles within the Early Childhood sector including international experience.
GABRIELLE CROSSE
Treasurer
Gabrielle has spent the past 20 years working with children and young people supporting their learning through one on one and small group sessions. She has also coached and mentored families of children with ADHD and on the autism spectrum along with developing and facilitating support groups. In both the private and not for profit sectors, Gabrielle has worked in centre based care, family day care and outside of school hours care.
RALPH SOUTHALL
Vice Chairperson
I started my career in education and care at the age of 15 working in OSHC.
Moving into LDC in 1990, I continued my studies, completing an Associate Diploma of Social Science. This year sees my career in education and care span 39 years. I am a strong advocate for my sector and educators, participating on several committees including Early Childhood Australia, Educational Leaders Association United Workers Union and the Thrive by Five campaign.
STEVEN SIZER
General Executive Member
Steven is an Executive Member of Carwest representing regional and not for profit services located throughout WA. Steven, whilst relatively new to the sector, joining Regional Early Education & Development Inc. (REED) in 2019, has been a passionate advocate for regional ECEC services from day one. Steven has held a number of roles within REED. With just 4 services when Steven started, REED now has 23 ECEC services including LDC, OSHC and an FDC s
ROBERTA KEOWN
General Executive Member
With 20+ years in the ECEC sector in multifaceted roles, including a training facilitator for EYL Networx and various operational and management positions, Roberta has significantly contributed to enhancing early learning practices. Complementing her practical expertise, Roberta is also deepening her academic prowess through postgraduate studies in Early Childhood Teaching, continually fostering environments where both children and educators thrive.
